Power Force Volleyball Club will offer two programs in the 2011-2012 season: The Club Program and The High Performance Team Program. The Club Program is for players to further develop their skills and prepare them for High School and High-Performance teams. The High Performance Program is for skilled players and players that are dedicated to achieving a higher level of play. Teams in the High Performance Program may travel out of state to compete in inter-regional tournaments. PFVC will determine which tournaments each team will enter.

For the 2011-2012 season we will be holding practices once again at Wilsonville High School and surrounding Wilsonville schools.

Tournament Information

The Club Program (except for 12's) will have a minimum of  (7)  tournaments with one tournament being a optional 2-day tournament such as The Willamette Classic. The High Performance Program teams will compete in (9) tournaments with two tournaments being 2-day tournaments such as The Willamette Classic and the Seattle President's Day Tournament.  However, there are no restrictions on the additional number of tournaments teams can enter. Teams can choose to enter as many tournaments as they wish. An average tournament within our region ranges between $85 and $150 per team. Outside our region the cost of major tournaments ranges from $175 - $1,300. This cost does not include travel, room, or meals. Parents/Guardians will have the option to make their own travel arrangements to and from these tournaments.

All expenses related to entering additional tournaments will be shared by all participating players. Expenses include tournament entry fees, coaches per diem, players' lodging, coach and team parent lodging, and travel for the coach and team parent, van rental and gas, and other related travel expenses as determined by the Club Director.

Examples:
Regional Tournaments: These tournaments are hosted by clubs within our region sanctioned by the Columbia Empire region of USA Volleyball.

Inter-Regional Tournaments: Tournaments hosted by clubs located outside our region. Examples of possible tournaments to attend include the President's Day and the Emerald City classic tournaments in Seattle, the Volleyball Festival in Sacramento, California, and
the Northwest Volleyball Championships in Salem.

Tournament days and times:
Most tournaments are held on the weekends. The coaches meeting usually starts at 7:30 am. First matches are scheduled at 8:00 am. Tournaments begin with pool play, followed by bracket play. For example, if there are 8 teams, they will be split into two pools of four teams. Each team will play the other three team in the pool. Using the win-loss record
and other means in cases of a tie, they will be ranked 1 to 4. The top 2 teams will play in the championship bracket, and the bottom 2 will play in the consolation bracket. Final matches will usually start sometime between 4:30 and 5:30 pm.
